MEDAN TRIP 24-29th JULY 2011

I was in Medan on 24th till 29th July 2011, to carry out my tasks as Visiting Professor at Universitas Pembinaan Masyarakat Indonesia (UPMI), Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU), Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) and Universitas Medan Area (UMA). I was appointed to the position by UMSU for about two years now, while by other three universities quite recently for a duration of between 6 to 12 months.

Together with me were ISDEV Deputy Director Dr Fadzila Azni Ahmad and ISDEV lecturer Dr Zahri Hamat who were appointed as Visiting Fellows by Universitas Pembinaan Masyarakat Indonesia (UPMI) and ISDEV lecturer Dr Zakaria Bahari who was appointed as Visiting Fellow by Universitas Medan Area (UMA). Another ISDEV lecturer, Dr Mohamad Zaini Abu Bakar was already at UMA on his sabbatical leave and serves as a Visiting Fellow at the university.
